Thousands and thousands of Victory Thanks flags flew
over Trafalgar Square on 10th July 2005, WWII National
Commemoration Day. The Royal British Legion received
over 115,000 flags each bearing messages of heartfelt thanks
to all those men and women who valiantly served their country
during the Second World War.
This special Victory site is dedicated to the celebrations,
events and activities focusing on the Commemorations. There
are many ways to get involved and at the same time support
